Christmas Presents In Detail

Hia everyone! Today I'll be doing a post on some of the things that I got for Christmas, I hope you enjoy. ðŸ˜Š

I'm going to start with these Cath Kidston hand and nail products because I just love the smell and as I am not a fan of very strong sweet or flowery scents, these are perfect.

The smell of these is really super nice for people like me who love gentle, fresh scents instead of some awful flowery sweet thing and these are really gentle on your skin and have no yucky stuff.

I obviously had to include this because [a: its made by Zoella] and [b: its just amazingness in the form of a bag]. I am in love with the little zip and the inside of the bag is a gentle nude-pink colour.

This is a really cute little box, I'm not sure what to use it for yet but I know that sometime or other it will most definitely come into use as I have too many things and not enough boxes.
Last but most definitely not least is this heart shaped chalkboard that I personally think looks absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Its really cute and I know it will suit my bedroom perfectly, now I just need to get more chalk-markers so that I can do some serious doodling ðŸ˜Š

Christmas Dinner

Hia! Today I was woken at 5:45am by my little brother who had been awake since 2am...what an amazing start to the morning! I got up at about 6:30am, which is very rare for me as I am most definitely a night-owl and usually wake up at around 8:10am (on schooldays of course) so I was at the Children's Mass yesterday and there was an adorable little baby boy, about one year old I'de say, he had the chubbiest little face and blue eyes...so I basically mean to say he kept getting confused about who his mum was and it was so cute and squeee. The sermon was really Christmassy (my phone is starting to translate Christmas into Christmassy, I say it so much)and 'Father Christmas' called in during the mass!
I got loads of stuff and I'm so super happy with it all, my favourites  include: Girl Online, Tomodachi Life (yes I'm a computer geek in case you didn't already guess), Popular; vintage wisdom for a Modern Geek (so funny and the reviews are great) and we cant forget the Zoella Guinea Pig make-up bag, which is the dotiest thing you will ever see, the zip is gorgeous!

Please take notice of my amazing onesie! Isn't the zip on that make-up bag just the most swish thing you have ever seen?!?!
And because I just couldn't resist taking more photos for you all...I added these wonderful specimens to the post:

I had to stand on a chair to take this one, the things people (like me)do for the internet!
I wanted to send you all an envelope that is filled with the smell of the turkey, sadly I can't do that so you will all have to imagine it...a fat turkey roasting with red onions and millions of herbs that I don't know the name of. Delish!!!

Walking Through a Winter Wonderland...

I've been playing around with a vintage style photo editor and these are the results (except for the last photo). I think it makes each photo look really magical and dreamy, if anyone wants to try the editor out just comment and I'll show you how to get this effect with a few swipes of your finger.

A Walk in the Park...

Good morning everyone, the sun is shining here in Ireland so I decided to go for a stroll. The light is so crisp and perfectly natural.
I think my favourite photo here is the photo of nettles although I'm not sure why exactly it is my favourite.
I decided to plait some of my hair today, I never really tie my hair up fully as it almost always slips during the day and I am left with a tangled mess on the back of my head.
I've been reading a few posts about improving your writing quality for blog posts and I am going to start saving each blog as a draft to go over the next day instead of my current mess. If anyone has any tips for me be sure to comment, I would really appreciate it!
I hope you are all having an amazing Christmas-Eve and that you get all the presents you want on Christmas day! ðŸ˜Š

Lunch with Three Generations.

I can't believe we only have two sleeps until Christmas! Today my mum, nana and I went to town for some Christmas shopping; the perfect way to spend a rainy day l I keep today! I had green tea, a scone with jam (which I ate up too quickly to take a photo of), and a nice chat. We got to sit next to a window looking out onto the city, which at the time was much more quiet than it is now.

Delicious hot-choc this evening in an adorable mug! Sorry about the quality, its very dark for my camera and the flash is too bright. Leave a comment ðŸ˜œ

Phoenix Park Café

Hia guys! Today I'm doing a little post on a cute cafe in the Phoenix Park dublin. I know there are so many other cute places to eat in Dublin but as I have a brother who is allergic to the whole idea of trying out different places, I can't.
Anyhow, I think this is a fairly nice cafe and the rustic style is really perfect for the place and of course I had to take some photos for you all, here they are:

I'm super happy with the top photo, I didnt even have to edit it! (right now I'm smiling to myself about how good it is) :) bye guys!

A Little Doodle

I doodled this just this morning, I might post a video for y'all later (if I can find a good video editing app). Why can't they just make an app with a simple way to make parts of your videos fast forward and add music that dies out so that you can hear your voice? If anyone has any recommendations for a video editor that is free on a Mac then please leave a comment, I'de love to hear all of your suggestions!

How to Keep Warm this Christmas

Everyone wants to look stylish this Christmas, but it's hard to look stylish while you have a sniffly nose from wearing a t-shirt in the cold. I'll show you how to look stylish and stay warm at the same time.

  • Have some cosy thick sweaters in your wardrobe.
  • Have a skirt or two, aswell as some skinny jeans.
  • Stock up on black tights and fluffy socks.
  • Buy comfy boots that will go with everything.
Then just mix and match with woolly scarves, gloves or a hat or two.
I hope you find this tutorial helpful and please like or comment if you want more similar to this!

Its Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

I'm so excited for Christmas this year!

- Fluffy socks, hot chocolate and lots of new books to read! Its so cosy at this time of the year and I really love it all (Except for Christmas Exams)! Its also the perfect opportunity to take millions of photos. The colours are amazing too, rich reds, glittering golds and wonderful shades of green. I feel like its also the perfect opportunity to be craftsy. I hope to post a tutorial soon on making really cute paper snowflakes, so pull on your fluffy socks, grab a blanket and some hot chocolate and have a super Christmas!

A Doodle in Time

This is a little doodle I've been working on for the past few days. I found out about zendoodling/ zentangles a few days ago because of my Christmas Exams for school. The girl sitting next to me was done her work and as we weren't allowed to take out books she started to doodle on the corner of her page, at first I was amazed at the detail going into it and how patient she was. Then when I finished my exam, I tried. It was surprisingly easy and very relaxing! I started with little circles and squares of blue pen, then I started doing doodle-birds that sat on doodle-branches. I checked out Pinterest and found millions and millions of super-helpful tutorials.
After watching a few tutorials, I started working on this page.
Anyway, for the last few months I wanted to start a blog or a youtube page and today I started both. I probably won't be posting on my youtube for a while but keep an eye on this blog!
Now lets do a little 'Hip Hip Hooray!' that I've finally started the blog. I'll keep you updated on this page until I start a new project.
