Today I'm gonna do something slightly different to usual. And before I start I want to just say that I don't mean to offend anyone, this is just my opinion and my advice based on my experience.
So let's not pretend that we have never looked in the mirror and wished for a few more/less pounds. And just about every one of us had that awful dressing room incident where the dress just would not come off or those jeans would not stay up no matter what.
Now since I am quite slim (although I try to hide it with big wooly jumpers) I will be talking about being 'skinny'. I'm not saying it's harder to be 'skinny' than overweight because we all know that's not true but I just want to talk about this a bit as I find that although there is a lot of stuff like this for the other side of this whole figure thing, not many people write about the 'skinny' side of the figure thing.

Struggles of a 'Skinny' Girl.
- Pants being too loose and falling down all the time
- People asking if you are anorexic
- Everone calling you skinny (which is mean by the way)
- When your ribcage juts out and your knees are knobbledy.
How to compliment a 'Skinny' Girl.
- Never say skinny, EVER!
- Say slim instead, it sounds nicer
- Compliment her clothes, she is just as self-conscious as you and needs compliments to boost her confidence
- Tell her the good things about her figure, for example "I wish I had your waist"
- Never ask if they are anorexic
And those are basically all my tips from my experience. Basically just be nice and if you want a better explanation from both sides, hop on over to youtube and watch "Chummy Chatter: Why are You so Skinny?". Remember if you do think you have an eating disorder please tell your parents or any other responsible adults you know. If you're bullied because of your weight, tell someone, it helps!
Lots of Love, Kate
P.S. Can we start a petition to ban 'All about that Bass? ' I feel like there are songs with much better messages that aren't 'boys like a little more booty' I mean...honestly!?!?
